Mama Mia, Here We Go Again!
The weekends (after o week ended) was well-spent with mumsie and my friends.
We went to Chadstone Shopping mall with roy and pearl came later on after lunch to join us.
heres us goofing around in K-mart!
mum spotted some kitchen electronic appliances on sales,
like the 10dollars bread toaster! super worth it :)

diva was on great sales, awesome awesome awesome :)
I bought some accessories for sissy so my mum can bring it back to singaland.

roy, pearl and me :)
the boots here are on sales too, super good quality gg for 30 to 50bucks!

a pic of chadstone for yea,
its the biggest shopping mall in melb.
(15mins drive from my place)

heres us in Myer,
bring us to the race course pretty please :)

early evening, the peeps headed to my place and mumsie made dinner!

roy was an angel, he vaccum my room!! yay :)

this Roybot doesnt need to go for National Service
-.-

hahahaha malfunction vaccum cleaner...

my 3 favourite softies, specially flown from home :)

simple but yummy and satisfying dinner....

pearl surprised us with her "home-made" Chocolate Bavarian Cake from Coles.

muahaha, and I took out my secret weapon to go with her desert-
my VERY WICKED CHOCOLATE DIP :)

0000, so rich! my favourite!

soon after desert, roy and pearl left around 9plus because
it was getting dark and they needa catch the bus back....
anyways, skyping for the first time was great,
now I really love the wonders of skype :)

the very next day, mumsie and I set off really early in the morning
to explore the city of Melb.
heres me outside my place...

me and my dearly-missed mum :)

I took the train for the first time,
roy and jlong joined us for the day...
and pearl met us at melb central!

the journey took 45mins....
and sometimes during peark hours, I can take 2 hours to get home -.-

a very cheery me and gel-haired roy

we arrived at melb central...
the min I came out of the train, the whole environment reminded me
so much of citylink (cityhall) back in singapore!

the giant clock soon became our meeting point whenever
we wanted to meet up in town... hahaha!

first stop was the queen victorian market....
group shot!

meat, anyone?

moremoremore meat.
basically its like a morning fresh food market in s'pore...
but its air-conditioned over here in Melb.

theres also a huge version of a wide spaced out "bugis street"
where they sell everything from clothes to tourist souvenirs to food to...
well u get my point!
we spotted a rather huge dog, chatted a bit with the owner
and the dog's name is Alfie!

alfie and us!

we walked past a lingerie shop and here comes the teasings, oops!

woah, huge ZZ CUPS please!
we are the Zcupz Wonderbra Girls hahaha

horsey, i wanna ride!!!

exactly like thailand, they sell chicks over here too :)
3 for AUD 5, anyone???

they sell chicken too!?!?!?!

my oh my....

so cute..... gosh!

we went over the the foodcourt to fill our grumbling stomach,
the food in Melb all cost more than AUD7...
the standard price is like AUD8!

heres my very cute mum and me :)

nice shot of us! pearl looks so stylio mylio
and I look like a mongolian girl! hahahaha

we were camwhoring as usual
when suddenly 2 very friendly aussie dudes came over
and join us in the photo!
haha cant believe they actually lifted jlong up! omgosh!

wa walked around a bit longer to shop
before everyone headed back to my place for dinner!

while my mum was cooking, we all took a slow evening stroll
from my place to Jlong's place (a 15mins walk)

weather is around 10 to 12 degrees...
and it was pretty nice to jog or take a slow stroll.

tada, we finally arrived at his place!

this is where he lives,
and his bed sheets are super girly for some reason!

timer camera!

we were in love with the pretty flowers and bushes along the way...

a fruit tree outside Jlong's place

what fruit is this??? anyone knows???

beautiful flowers outside a childcare centre

then we all headed back to my place for dinner....

more dishes this time round, it was really scrumptious!

sadly that was the last dinner with my mum.
she left melb the very next day (early noon)....
We had a early morn trip down to Glen Waverley to shop a bit more,
had japanese food for lunch then back home to do some final packup...
Bid goodbye to my mum at my place instead, because the airport is really far
and it wasnt practical to send her off....
I had a terrible heart sinking feeling when she left,
felt so so so down and lost.
The room still lingered her smell, laughter and everything....
I was so miserable that evening,
I thought about how am i gonna cope for the following months,
doing laundry, cooking and all.
Like what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Strangely, I miss my mum's serious naggings and her honey water.....
Luckily, I have a Roy-botic friend who accompanied me through the evening.
We went to Macs because he was starving.
Seriously, the fast food portions are really small,
and the prices are the same as the restaurants over here!

we had to wait 30 mins for the next bus because the public transport in melb
operates on fixed timings.
Theres a board at all bus-stops that shows us the timing of the next bus.
And I swear, taking the bus on the weekend is terrible.
the intervals of the buses are like 30 to 45mins long!
so we walked around and camwhored a bit!
at the petrol station!
we took the bus down to caulfield to meet pearl and her roomates,
walked to her place for dinner!
her shared apt. with 4 other roomates!
thats her friend in red trackpants who cooked for us!
shes a great cook :))))
we also helped out in the cooking process,
by peeling and chopping onions and garlics!
here comes my awesome skills at chopping it all into small bits!
Smith potatochips, very much like Lays Potatochips in S'pore!
made friends with meiyee and heres our dinner!
steamed garlic chicken!! I love it....
this is like a japanese dish, I forgot the name of it!
its egg and pork/chicken
sardines
one last dish to go...
oyster sauce can do wonders!
I love the vegetables too!
hahaha a very shy great cook!
meiyee, roybot and me took the free shuttle bus back to my place,
in fact it was the last bus.
thank you roy for walking me home,
I've learnt that it is very dangerous to walk home alone, even for a boy at night!
"No matter how hard the truth is, we can never have everything set up to be picture perfect.
God is in charge this little life of mine that is totally beyond my control."
p.s more pictures to come! never-ending blogging, omgosh!
